Expendables 4 marks Wrath of Man reunion

Shooting starts in October on Statham starrer

The extremely versatile Andy Garcia (“The Godfather Part III”, “When a Man Loves a Woman”, “The Untouchables”, “Hero”, “Ocean’s Eleven”, “Black Rain”) has been enlisted for the next “Expendables”.

The pic, headlined by Jason Statham, is said to be a spin-off fixing largely on the “Wrath of Man” star’s Lee Christmas character.

Garcia and Statham previously co-starred in “Wrath of Man” earlier this year.

“Expendables” regulars Sylvester Stallone, Randy Couture and Dolph Lundgren are believed to make appearances in the Scott Waugh-directed instalment. Also onboard are Megan Fox, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and Tony Jaa.

Garcia, next in a modern-day remake of “Father of the Bride”, will play a CIA agent assigned to accompany the Expendables on their dangerous mission, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Shooting starts in October.
