Fede Alvarez (“Evil Dead”) will write and direct a new film in the “Alien” film franchise for Hulu. The pic, said to be completely separate from the original run of films, will be produced by Ridley Scott. Angelina Jolie will produce and direct “Without Blood”, which the “Tomb Raider” star was first attached to in 2017. Working from a script Jolie adapted from the best-selling novel by Alessandro Baricco, the film tells the story of a girl’s quest for revenge and healing during a time of conflict.
