First looks : Angry Birds, The Hollow Crown, American Sniper

Some first images from forthcoming fare hit the fancys of the web today.

First up, two images from the Clint Eastwood director “American Sniper” starring Joshua Jac…er, Bradley Cooper.


Next, a first look a the “Angry Birds” movie.

The main trio of Angry Birds will be led by Jason Sudeikis (Horrible Bosses, We’re the Millers) as Red, a bird with a temper, with Josh Gad (Frozen) as the speedy Chuck and Danny McBride (This is the End, “Eastbound & Down”) voicing the volatile Bomb.
Supporting these three comedy superstars is Bill Hader (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) as a pig, Maya Rudolph (Bridesmaids) as Matilda and Peter Dinklage (“Game of Thrones”) will play Mighty Eagle. Also lending their voices to the video game adaptation are Keegan-Michael Key (“Key & Peele”), Kate McKinnon (“SNL”), Tony Hale (“Arrested Development”), Ike Barinholtz (Neighbors), Hannibal Buress (“Broad City”), Cristela Alonzo (“Cristela”), Jillian Bell (22 Jump Street), Danielle Brooks (“Orange is the New Black”), singer Romeo Santos and YouTube stars Smosh (Ian Andrew Hecox and Anthony Padilla).

and last but not least, a pic of Benedict Cumberbatch in “The Hollow Crown : The War of the Roses”.

Assembling some of the UK’s finest acting talent and, in addition to the stellar cast recently confirmed–Benedict Cumberbatch, Judi Dench, Sophie Okonedo, Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Keeley Hawes and Tom Sturridge–the new names revealed today are Michael Gambon as Mortimer, Philip Glenister as Talbot, Andrew Scott as King Louis, Jason Watkins as Suffolk, Samuel West as the Bishop of Winchester, Stanley Townsend as Warwick, Adrian Dunbar as Plantagenet, Geoffrey Streatfeild as Edward IV, Ben Daniels as Buckingham, Ben Miles as Somerset, Sam Troughton as George, Stuart McQuarrie as Vernon, Anton Lesser as Exeter, Kyle Soller as Clifford, Phoebe Fox as Anne, James Fleet as Hastings and Lucy Robinson as Young Cecily.
