Former “Veronica Mars” co-star on board ”13th ”
/Its trendy to shoot two horror sequels back to back these days, Patrick Lussier shot two “Dracula 2000” sequels one after the other, “Feast 2” and “Feast 3” forfeited a break by shooting concurrently, and two “Pulse” sequels recent went back-to-back in Louisiana – so no surprise to hear that “Jeepers Creepers 3” might actually be the first of two new sequels being filmed back-to-back.
Says Shock Til You Drop, “The studio, according to our sources, is interested in ordering up two sequels shot back-to-back – an exercise many production entities are exploring these days (see: Feast 2 and 3, etc.).”
Meantime, Former “Veronica Mars” Dick – that was his name, Dick – Ryan Hansen has a date with Jason Voorhees’s machete.
According to the same site, the young actor (recently seen in “Superhero Movie”), has signed up for a role (no doubt as a victim) in the “Friday the 13th” retool.
Hansen joins fellow camp counsellors Jared Padalecki, Danielle Panabaker, Derek Mears, Amanda Righetti, Jonathan Sadowski, Travis van Winkle, Aaron Yoo and Arlen Escarpeta for the film, in theaters Feb 13, 2009.
