There could be a new ‘Mc-Someone’ joining “Grey’s Anatomy” next season. Kevin McKidd, most recently seen as the Marty McFly-ish ‘Journeyman’ on the short-lived series of the same name, is said to be in “serious” (they’re the conversations where everyone goes without smiling) talks to enter Seattle Grace, says EW.

Also in TV-land, Jane Espenson is writing, and Edward James Olmos is directing, the first “Battlestar Galactica” movie according to this site. It’s assumed this is a prequel to the events of the current season, and will feature most of the cast.

And finally, The airdate for the AFI Life Achievement Awards (”Warren Beatty”) has changed
