Glee and True Blood stars are Expecting

Matthew Morrison (“Glee”) and Joe Manganiello (“True Blood”) have been added to the cast of Kirk Jones’ (”Nanny McPhee”) latest, ”What to Expect When You’re Expecting”, reports Deadline and The Hollywood Reporter.

In the film, Morrison will play Evan, who teams with Cameron Diaz’s character on a celebrity dance show and eventually teams on a pregnancy, forcing them to re-evaluate what’s important in life.

“True Blood” star Joe Manganiello will play a jet-setting single guy who the local dads begin to envy. “They basically hang out and complain about how their lives used to be,” the actor tells THR. “They aren’t cool now, because they’re dads.”

“I play the perpetually single, sunbathed, world-traveling, surfing photographer,” he adds. “Who hangs out at the park where they have their support group and they basically worship this guy.”

“The script was really fun and there were some fantastic A-List people attached to it,” Manganiello said. “So, I get to work with some of those people and a lot of my stuff is with Chris Rock, who I am huge fan of and I quote his standup constantly. So, that in and of itself is fun.”

Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Chace Crawford, Chris Rock and Chace Crawford are among Morrison and Manganiello’s co-stars in the film.

Filming will begin later this summer for a May 11, 2012 release.
