Good Night and Good Fracture

A new role for David Straitharn

One of the best actors around at the moment – and a helluva nice guy actually, too – David Straitharn (“Good Night and Good Luck”) has won a starring role in Gregory Hoblit’s new film “Fracture”.

Ryan Gosling and Anthony Hopkins already have been cast in the story that follows an assistant district attorney (Gosling) who plays a cat-and-mouse game with a man (Hopkins) who tried to kill his wife but was set free on a series of technicalities. Strathairn plays the district attorney, Gosling’s boss, says The Hollywood Reporter.
