Now here’s a bit of fun casting… “Back to the Future” fave Christopher ‘Doc Brown’ Lloyd will reunite with Elisabeth Shue (who played Jennifer in “BTTF II” and “BTTF III”, following Claudia Wells’ departure from the role) for Alex Aja’s “Piranha 3-D”.
According to Bloody Disgusting, the screen vet (whose other credits include TVs “Taxi”, “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”, “Clue”, “Angels in the Outfield”, “One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest” and “The Addams Family”) will star as as Goodman, an expert on piranha, in the Josh Stolberg-penned flick.
Dina Meyer, Richard Dreyfuss, Adam Scott, Ving Rhames, and Jerry O’Connell are also among the cast.
Good to see Lloyd back in a high-profile commercial film – he’s been wasted in recent years.
