Universal’s ”Dumb and Dumber To” will be released on November 14, 2014.
The sequel will see Jim Carey and Jeff Daniels reunited for the project, once again portraying the films dim-witted pair, Lloyd and Harry, who this time embark on a road trip to find Harry’s long lost son.
Also reunited, brothers Robert “Bobby” and Peter Farrelly will direct the project, after collaborating on the original film in 1994.
The Farrelly brothers will also be producing the film, which is in production now, along with Riza Aziz, Charles Wessler, Bradley Thomas and Joey McFarland.
”The Walking Dead”’s Laurie Holden will also star along with Rob Riggle, who was recently seen in ”21 Jump Street”. Jennifer Lawrence will feature in the film as well.
”Dumb and Dumber To”’s pre-holiday release date will see it launched on the same day as Sony’s WWII drama, ”Fury”, starring Brad Pitt. The sequel will also face enormous competition from ”The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1”, which is set for release the following weekend.
