Matt Bomer is back at HBO – where he starred in the acclaimed “The Normal Heart” – for a Montgomery Clift biopic, says Deadline.
Bomer has been attached to the project for a while; it first started life as an independent production with Larry Moss set to direct from a script by Christopher Lovick.
HBO plan to surround Bomer, who will play movie legend Clift, with a roster of name actors.
Ira Sachs and Mauricio Zacharias will rewrite Lovick’s script.
