Those rumours that hit the web last year about Simon Pegg and Nick Frost being cast as Thomson and Thompson in Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson’s “Tintin” are right on the money, according to Aint it Cool News.
The site also reports that Andy Serkis will play Captain Haddock in the film.
And while on the topic, can I just say those rumours of Eric Stoltz being up for the role of Dr Krollspell are completely false. Stoltz, who is in my film “First Howl”, is not on board the movie (not that he wouldn’t be great) nor has he even met with Sirs Jackson or Spielberg about it.
Thomas Sangster was to play the lead in the “Tintin” films but was recently forced out of the role due to a scheduling clash.
