Howard joins Hereafter

Bryce Dallas Howard (“Terminator Salvation”, “Spider-Man 3”) has joined the cast of Clint Eastwood’s latest pic, “Hereafter”, according to Variety.

The actress, who takes on the role of Victoria [replacing Rachel Lefevre, who was forced out of the part due to a ‘scheduling conflict’] in the upcoming “The Twilight Saga : Eclipse”, will star opposite Matt Damon.

Produced by Steven Spielberg, the Peter Morgan-penned flick tells the story of three people — a blue-collar American, a French journalist and a London school boy — who are touched by death in different way.

Filming on the pic, due for release next December, is taking place in Paris, London, Hawaii and San Francisco.

Howard’s father Ron worked with Eastwood on “The Changeling”.
