John C.Reilly and Paula Malcolmson look set to join the cast of Gary Ross’s “Hunger Games”.
The “Walk Hard” star, says Vulture, is negotiating to play Haymitch Abernathy, a former ‘Hunger Games’ winner and straight-up drunk who helps to train the film’s lead characters for their big skirmish.
Meanwhile, THR says “Caprica” and “Deadwood” actress Malcolmson is playing Mrs Everdeen in the picture.
It seems everyone’s enjoying a nice break over Easter but the overworked casting directors of “Hunger Games” because each and every day someone new is announced for this flick.
Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutchinson and Willow Shields are among those locked for the highly-anticipated picture.
