Inevitable Teaming : Jon Cryer and Robert Rodriguez?

Duckie heads to “Sin City”

Morgan Stewart’s Coming Home!

Jon Cryer, whose film career went stiff sometime after the first “Hot Shots!” (1991), is returning to the same screen he was seen on as Duckie, Max Hauser, Morgan Stewart, Max Hauser, Charles Cummings and, er, Lenny Luthor on – the big screen.

Robert Rodriguez has recruited the 80s icon – and star of TVs “Two-and-half Men” – for his new family comedy adventure, “Shorts”.

In addition to Cryer, William H. Macy, Leslie Mann and James Spader are also on board the film.

“Shorts” is set in a suburb where all the houses look the same and everyone works for Black Box, manufacturer of the ultimate communication and do-it-all gadget. Chaos follows when an 11-year-old boy is hit in the head with a rainbow-colored rock that grants wishes to anyone who holds it.
