There’s another Jackson in the news today but, needless to say, for far more sanguine reasons.
Janet Jackson, sister of the recently departed King of Pop Michael, has signed to reprise her role in Tyler Perry’s comedy sequel “Why Did I Get Married Too.”
The thesp will again portray a successful author and psychologist who prefers to analyze other’s relationship problems rather than deal with her own marriage, says Variety.
Jackson is the only other cast member, besides Perry, confirmed for the sequel at this stage.
“Why Did I Get Married Too” has been set for release on April 2, the start of next year’s Easter weekend. The first pic, based on Perry’s stage play, grossed $55 million domestically.
