Coinciding with Superman Day, director and DC Studios chief James Gunn (The Suicide Squad) has officially announced that early pre-production is underway on his Superman: Legacy project.
Gunn, who has let it be known the project won’t be an origin film but will feature a younger man of steel than the one we’ve seen on screen in recent years, said : “I’m honored to be a part of the legacy” adding, “costumes, production design, and more now up and running” on the pic.
The movie, set of a July 11th 2025, will likely cast before the fall.
