James Wan doing remake of The Entity

A remake “The Entity” (1983) is in the works, according to Heat Vision.

James Wan will produce the film – about an invisible demon who abuses and taunts a woman – with Chad and Carey Hayes writing the script. Horror vet Roy Lee (“The Ring”) will produce alongside Wan.

Barbara Hershey and Ron Silver starred in the original.
