Jared Leto responds to Joker rumours

Jared Leto likely won’t escape an interview – at least until it’s confirmed one way or the other – without being asked whether or not there’s any truth to the rumours he’s going to play The Joker in the upcoming “Suicide Squad” movie.

This time he was quizzed by The Hollywood Reporter about potentially being cast as the Clown Prince of Crime in the movie.

Though his answer is abrupt, it almost suggests that a Joker turn is happening.

“I’ve sworn to keep my mouth shut” Leto tells the trade.

Should the deal come off, Leto would join Will Smith, Tom Hardy, Margot Robbie, Jesse Eisenberg and Jai Courtney in the David Ayer-directed movie, based on a DC Comics’ title about a group of villains who are teamed by the government to pull off missions.
