Former “Parenthood” and “Gilmore Girls” star Lauren Graham is set to play a Late-Night TV host in a new NBC comedy.
The Hollywood Reporter says NBC has courted Graham to star in a new show she’s developing with producer Ellen DeGeneres called “Kate on Later”.
Kate explores a woman (Graham) who, just when she thought her day job was all her life was going to amount to, sees an opportunity arise that’s bigger than she ever dreamed possible. But that opportunity means she’s going to have to break one of the last remaining glass ceilings — the world of late-night network television talk shows.
Graham, who recently wrapped “Parenthood”, is writing the show with Liz Tuccillo (”He’s Just Not That Into You”).
