Joel McHale nails the House Bunny

Like Greg Kinnear, hosting “The Soup” (or “Talk Soup” as it was known when Kinnear hosted it) seems to have paid of in dividends for frontman Joel McHale. Taking the piss out of Whitney Houston and Ryan Seacrest on a weekly basis has led to oodles of offers for the, with McHale now appearing in film (“The Informant”, “Spider-Man 3”, “The Big Year”) and his own TV series (“Community”).

Now comes word that has snagged a key role in the new Anna Faris comedy, “What’s Your Number?”. The Mark Mylod comedy, says THR, “centers on a woman (Faris) who treks through her sexual past to find Mr. Right, exploring the idea of sexual quotas and whether such numbers matter”.

In the flick, which also stars Chris Evans, Zachary Quinto and (one-time “Superman” candidate) Matt Bomer, McHale is playing Faris’ mildly charming boss, whom she accidentally sleeps with, causing her to begin a wild goose chase to find the one that got away.

Dark Crystal 2 finally on the way – thanks to Australia!
