Is Patrick Swayze on the verge of a comeback? Ok, maybe that’s pushing the truth a bit, but seems the former Dirty Dancer is at least getting some roles again. Hot on the heels of his succinct “Dirty Dancing 2” cameo, comes news that Swayze will play adventurer Allan Quartermain in Hallmark’s remake of “King Solomons Mines”. Pre-production is completed on the 4 hour mini-series and shooting starts later this month in South Africa. Steve Boyum is the director. The network’s also got a mini-series remake of “Frankenstein” in the works too, with Alec Newman, Luke Goss and Julie Delpy starring.
