Caffeinated Clint
A comedy that takes the piss out of the teen horror movie (wait, hasn’t that been done before? And by the way, what’s your favourite… scarrry movvvie?) is in the works. Fox has snapped up a pitch from “Neighbors” scribes Brendan O’Brien and Andrew Jay Cohen called “Thill Ride”.
The film, which will be written by Peter Warren, sounds like it’ll essentially make fun of flicks like “Final Destination” and.. Platinum Dunes’ back catalog.
Deadline says “Thrill Ride” is set at the end of the school year and sees a class visiting an amusement park – one that’s also playing host to a homicidal madman or [mad]woman.
Chernin Entertainment will produce.
