Liam Neeson in talks for Taken sequel

Time to invest in another bottle of black dye, Liam.

Mr Neeson is being courted to star in a sequel to the surprise action hit, “Taken”. Thankfully, Neeson’s rather fond of the film and, so they say, it’s producer too – Luc Besson – because the man usually nixes sequels. In fact, in most interviews he’s given for “The A-Team” Neeson says he’s only playing Hannibal Smith the once, and doesn’t envision returning for a sequel – which is disappointing considering how terrific Neeson is in the film (At the same time, it’s no sure thing there’s going to be an “A-Team” sequel – the film’s not doing as well as expected at the box office; “Karate Kid” is whopping it’s ass, in fact!). Still, the fact that Neeson says he’s going to meeting with Luc Besson later this month to discuss a potential sequel suggests there’s hope we’ll see ass-kicking Bryan Mills again.

Here’s Neeson’s chat with MTV about “Taken 2”.
