Liv Tyler reprising Betty Ross for new MCU movie

Actress last played the role fifteen years ago


Liv Tyler will reprise her Betty Ross role from 2008’s The Incredible Hulk for the first time in another MCU movie.

Director Julius Onah has tapped Tyler (Armageddon, Stealing Beauty) to return for the superhero ensemble movie Captain America : New World Order. She joins Harrison Ford, who plays her onscreen father General ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross, replacing the late William Hurt while Tim Blake Nelson will reprise his role of Samuel Sterns/The Leader from the earlier film.

Carl Lumbly and Danny Ramirez are also onboard the film, which features Anthony Mackie for the first time on the big screen as the new Captain America.

Captain America: New World Order has set a May 3rd 2024 release.
