Looney Tunes, Back in Action!

There’s been a couple of live-action/CGI hybrid Bugs Bunny flicks – “Space Jam”, “Looney Tunes : Back in Action”, and the floppy-haired carrot connoisseur also had a cameo in Bob Zemeckis’ “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?” – but obviously those there’s a lot of untapped potential there. And yes, I’m smiling as I type.

According to Deadline, Warner Bros has hired “Elf” writer David Berenbaum to pen a new flick, said to be the first phase in the studio’s attempt to relaunch some of these classic Looney Tunes characters. As previously reported, a “Marvin the Martian” movie is also in the works. There’s also been talks of a “Space Jam” sequel – though this project, though it’s not stated, could possibly be that.

All good. Something to take my kid to!
