Comedian Louis C.K will pull triple duty on new indie comedy “I’m a Cop”.
The jester – who last directed 2001’s “Pooty Tang” starring Chris Rock – writes, directs and stars in the Scott Rudin produced film.
The Hollywood Reporter says it tells of “a depressed middle-aged man who is a volunteer police officer living in the shadow of his mother, a highly decorated retired officer. When she dies, her continued influence forces him to become a real police officer, which is something he never wanted to be.”
The actor’s “Louis”, airing on FX, recently kicked off its fifth season.
