Meg Ryan has joined the cast of the “Fan Girl”, the story of a 15-year-old who films a movie based on her favourite band, says Deadline.
Kiernan Shipka, who plays Don Draper’s daughter on “Mad Men”, is also onboard. Kara Hayward (“Moonrise Kingdom”), Scott Adsit (”30 Rock”, ”Big Hero 6”), Joshua Boone, and Bill Sage (”We Are What We Are”) round out the cast.
The band All Time Low will lend their music to the soundtrack as well as appear in the film as themselves.
The film marks the directorial debut of Paul Jarrett who directs from a semi-autobiographical script by Gina O’Brien. E.
