“Lethal Weapon” star plays a man who tries to help another escape a building

Filmmaker James Cullen Bressack, whose new film “Survive the Game” starring Bruce Willis and Chad Michael Murray was recently released on home ent platforms, will direct Oscar winning actor and filmmaker Mel Gibson in the action thriller “Hot Seat”.

Per Deadline, the film is based on a story by Leon Langford & Collin Watts about an ex-hacker that is forced to break into high-level banking institutions by an anonymous man who planted a bomb under his chair at his office. Gibson, who last appeared in “Fatman”, plays the man who must try to penetrate the booby-trapped building to get the young man off the hot seat.

“The Irishman” producers Randall Emmett and George Furla are producing with Bressack.
