Miller : Mad Max 5 & 6 still in the works

Aussie gem George Miller assures “Mad Max” fans that the long-proposed “Fury Road” (2015) sequels are still going ahead.

Despite the lack of movement on the follow-ups, the acclaimed filmmaker said another two instalments in the classic action series are still in the works.

Speaking to IndieWire, the “Babe” filmmaker said : “There are two stories, both involving Mad Max and also a Furiosa story. We’re still solving, we’ve got to play out the Warners thing [but] it seems to be pretty clear that it’s going to happen.”

Miller is referring to a legal clash between Kennedy Miller Mitchell, his production company, and the studio in which they’ve sued for unpaid earnings on the movie.

The “Warners thing” he mentions is a legal battle in which Miller’s production company, Kennedy Miller Mitchell, sued film studio Warner Bros for unpaid earnings on the film.
