Netflix have announced a remake of classic French war movie The Wages of Fear with production already underway on the Julien Leclercq-directed pic.
The film, which Leclercq (”Ganglands”) is also co-writing and producing, will bow on the streamer next year.
Franck Gastambide, Alban Lenoir, Ana Girardot and Sofiane Zermani star in the French-language film, produced by Leclercq and Julien Madon’s outfit Labyrinthe Films with TF1 Studio. The film tells of four men hired to transport nitroglycerine through South America without the appropriate safety equipment.
