The CW has put into development a series based on the Cartoon Network favourite, which hails from Diablo Cody, Heather Regnier, Warner Bros TV and Berlanti Productions. “Avengers” and “Thor” star Chris Hemsworth is in the frontrunner to star as the male lead in the new “Mad Max” film. Mad Max himself won’t appear in the film, which would see Hemsworth play a shady type named Dementus.
