Sometimes studios can be sensible. Despite still making a lefty amount of bank at the box office, seems there’s no plans to follow “American Wedding” up with a fourth chapter in the “American Pie” series. Talking to Blockbuster Magazine, to promote the DVD release of the recent sequel, writer Adam Herz says there are no plans for a fourth adventure for Jim, Stifler, Michelle and company – just yet. “Not for a long time anyway. It might be an idea to check in 10 years from now and see what these guys are doing, but the things that have made the franchise enjoyable is watching these guys grow up. I think it would be unfair to the audience to do a movie where it would be just for the money : people will go…but it wouldn’t be a good story. There is nothing left to tell about them now”.
