Piper plays for Sin Jin-Smyth

One of the coolest cats to step out of the wrestling world and onto the silver screen – despite it being quite a few brewskies since "They Live" (1988) – looks set to brush up on his acting skills again.

Roddy Piper is in talks to join the cast of "Sin Jin-Smyth", Ethan Dettenmaier’s upcoming horror about two federal marshals, who man an isolated Federal Outpost in the American Midwest, who receive an emergency message one night to blitz across the border into the Kansas Badlands for the midnight prisoner transfer of man with no identity.

Piper, a pro wrestler from 1973-1987, is currently in talks to play an unspecified role in the film, which co-stars Richard Tyson and Reggie Bannister.

Piper has recently appeared in – little seen gems like – "Code Black", "Shut Up and Shoot!", "Jack of Hearts" and "Legless Larry & the Lipstick Lady".

Meantime, The Cult’s Billy Duffy will contribute original guitar work to the Score. He’ll also serve as Music Supervisor and lock and load for a part in the film as a rogue government agent who specializes in interrogation and torture.
