Good news, LaRusso fans! The entire first season of “Cobra Kai” is now available to stream online… for free! Up until now, the show has been available exclusively on YouTube Premium, their paid streaming service. The Google-owned streamer says it will now make all new original series and specials available at no cost with ads or via its ad-free subscription tier.
Of course all good things come with a catch, and that is in this case: ads. But for an amazing show such as this one, you should definitely accept that for a hefty dose of “Karate Kid” goodness. The 10 episodes are available for a limited time, so get on it if you haven’t seen it – or just want another look at the show (and who doesn’t?!).
After September 11th of this year, season 2 of the series will also be available for free – with episodes dropping weekly.
“Cobra Kai” sees Ralph Macchio and William Zabka reprising their roles as Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence. The series focused on a down-and-out Lawrence, who’d been looking to turn his life around by reintroducing the teachings of his old dojo, Cobra Kai. Upon inviting the next generation of would-be fighters to learn under his hardened rule, Johnny finds himself challenged by his old foe, Larusso, who still embraces the values taught to him by his late sensei, Mr. Miyagi.
