GHOSTBUSTERS 3 CASTING!
Auditions are about to begin in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York on – yes, it’s happening! Join me in a jig, will ya!? – the long-awaited “Ghostbusters 3”. Set to shoot early next year, the flick has Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Sigourney Weaver and Ernie Hudson reprising their roles from the first two films. Casting agents are on the hunt for a few young actors to play the new ‘recruits’ in the film (Yep, one of those ‘passing the torch’ movies that’s all the trend over there in development hell) but already there’s rumours that Anna Faris, Bill Hader and Will Forte may be involved – as Ghostbusters? Suppose so.
SUPERMAN GOING TO AFRICA!
An early synopsis for Zack Snyder’s “Superman Returns” has been revealed. Says Hollywood Insider, “Man of Steel will be set in Smallville, Metropolis.. and West Africa. Though the film will feature the ‘red/blue blur’, Clark Kent will be the central focus of the story.
In the Christopher Nolan produced reboot, Kent’s “a young journalist, traveling for the globe, who would rather solve problems and help people without resorting to using his special powers.”
A character breakdown issued to casting agencies this week says that the plot involves Clark getting involved in some sort of battle between two tribes in West Africa.
“When he is compelled to use his secret powers to intervene in a crisis in West Africa, Clark returns to Smallville to learn more about his origins and the hero he was born to be”.”
UNDERWORLD 4 : WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT, ALFIE?
The Kate Beckinsale starring “Underworld : New Dawn” has a plot (shocker!, I know!?) : “After being held in a coma-like state for fifteen years, vampire Selene (Kate Beckinsale) learns that she has a fourteen-year-old vampire/Lycan hybrid daughter, Nissa, and when she finds her they must stop BioCom from creating super Lycans that will kill them all.” (More…)

Gael Garcia Bernal (“The Motorcycle Diaries”) is onboard and Al Pacino is in talks to do “Hands of Stone”, the story of boxing champ Roberto Duran. Pacino would play Ray Arecel in the biopic. (More…)
