Rachel, Kurt and Finn are leaving Glee!?

Shock news from the world of “Glee” today : Executive Producer Ryan Murphy has decided to axe Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer from the show.

Nobody’s been caught with pot or getting about like Megan Fox, Murphy simply planned all along to one day bring in a new wave of students so the current Glee clubbers could graduate.

“You can keep them on the show for six years and people will criticize you for not being realistic,” Murphy tells TVLine, “or you can be really true to life and say when they started the show they were very clearly sophomores and they should graduate at the end of their senior year.

“We’ve never done anything by the book,” Murphy continued. “We made that decision and I involved Chris and Lea and they thought that was a good idea. They both trust the writing and trust me and felt that it would be great to have an open and closed experience for them to go out while they were on top.”

Who knows, it mightn’t be the last we’ll see of Rachel or Finn or Kurt though; Murphy has said in the past that he’s open to the idea of a spin-off featuring those characters as they struggle to make it in the world of Broadway theatre and so on.

So… will you watch “Glee” without Rachel, Finn or Kurt?
