Sony’s hugely disappointing Will Ferrell-John C.Reilly starrer “Holmes and Watson” scooped the 39th annual Golden Raspberry Awards this weekend.
Awards celebrating the worst in cinema also went to Melissa McCarthy, ”Fahrenheit 11/9” and “Fifty Shades Freed”, but it was the Sherlock Holmes spoof that snared the majority of wins – taking home ‘Worst Picture’, ‘Worst Remake, Ripoff or Sequel,’ a ‘Worst Director’ for Etan Coen, and ‘Worst Supporting Actor’ for John C. Reilly.
Donald Trump took home awards for his ‘performance’ in Michael Moore’s “Fahrenheit 11/9”, McCarthy was named worst actress for “The Happytime Murders” and “Life of the Party”, and the “Fifty Shades” conclude took home worst screenplay.
