Ricky Schroder

“Blood Done Sign My Name”, based on n autobiographical work of history written by Timothy B. Tyson, tells of a black Vietnam-era veteran who is allegedly murdered by a local white businessman who is later exonerated. One of the many talented stars of the film is former child star Ricky Schroder (“Silver Spoons”, “The Champ”). Schroder, who in recent years has starred in such series’ as “NYPD Blue” and “24”, plays Vernon Tyson, the pastor of the local Methodist church in Oxford, North Carolina, where the aforementioned murder occurs. Ashley Hillard caught up with Schroder – over lunch – to discuss his role in the film.
