Next year we’re set to say ‘Welcome Back, Rocky and Bullwinkle!’
Dreamworks has announced its latest short film ‘Rocky & Bullwinkle’, to be released next year.
The short will feature the voices of June Foray, as Rocket “Rocky” J Squirrel, and Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants), as Bullwinkle Moose.
Directed by Gary Trousdale and produced by Denise Nolan Cascino, the short will be written by Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant.
The studio has also announced that its upcoming animation ‘Mr Peabody and Sherman’ will be released on March 7, 2014. The film features original characters from ‘The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show’.
From the initial broadcast of ‘The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show’ in 1959, the loveable duo have been appearing on our TV screens, in the cinemas, on comic strips and even starring in their own video games for the past 55 years, and next year a whole new bunch of kids will be introduced to the pair.
