Michael Douglas and Danny DeVito are eyeing their fourth outing together – not counting “One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest” which DeVito acted in and Douglas produced – a dramedy called “Solitary Man”.
In what sounds like a loose remake of the Robin Williams starrer “Cadillac Man”, the film sees Douglas play a former owner of a car dealership chain whose career and marriage were destroyed by his business and romantic indiscretions. No word on who DeVito would play – but he’d be the perfect slimy used-car salesman would he not?
Brian Koppelman and David Levien are directing a script written by Koppelman.
Susan Sarandon and Jenna Fisher are also in talks to join the film, says Variety
