Yesterday Sam Smith posted an image suggesting that he might be signing the next “James Bond” theme. Today it’s been confirmed.
Smith co-wrote the song, titled “Writing’s on the Wall”, with Jimmy Napes. It will be available through Capitol Records to purchase and stream on September 25.
“This is one of the highlights of my career,” said Smith. “I am so excited to be a part of this iconic British legacy and join an incredible line up of some of my biggest musical inspirations.”
Directed by Sam Mendes, “Spectre” will hit cinemas on November 6.
