Caffeinated Clint
Seasoned pro’s Susan Sarandon (“Thelma & Louise”, “Stepmom”), Richard Jenkins (“The Visitor”, “Hall Pass”) and Julie Christie (“Red Riding Hood”, “Finding Neverland”) have been enlisted to play parts in Bob Redford’s highly-anticipated (Well, atleast on this side of the 19-inch monitor) “The Company You Keep”.
Deadline have the low-down on who the trio play in the Redford/Shia LaBeouf starrer, which the Sundance Kid is also directing.
It’s the story of an ex-Weather Underground militant wanted by the FBI for 30 years who must go on the run when his true identity is exposed by a young, ambitious reporter. Redford plays the former radical at the center of this nationwide manhunt, and LaBeouf is the determined journalist. Sarandon and Christie play former Weather Underground members who were accomplices in the bank robbery, and Jenkins plays a college professor who is a link to former radicals in hiding.
Loves me some Redford. Makes we want to pop “President’s Men” in the DVD player tonight… you guys got a favourite Redford movie?
