SFX duo to steer “Alien Vs.Predator” sequel
As mentioned earlier this week, SFX whizzes’ The Strauss Brothers – Greg and Colin, to their folks – have signed on to direct the sequel to “Alien Vs. Predator”.
I presume they need one guy to shoot the Alien, another to get coverage of the Predator?
The effects guru’s – who have worked on a couple of other FOX films, including “The Fantastic Four” and “The Day After Tomorrow” – have an August 10, 2007 release date to work around.
Reports say the film may be set in a contemporary city-like setting (think “Predator 2”, I guess?) and possibly share no connection to the previous film – besides the fact the titular creatures look suspiciously similar to the chaps that had the scuffle in the pyramids, of course.
