Scrubs Snubs

“Scrubs” creator Bill Lawrence has reunited near every notable guest-star the show has had for what’ll likely be the show’s series finale, says EW.

Well, let me rephrase that “Lawrence has reunited near every notable guest-star who isn’t currently under contract at NBC”.

Those that are under contract with the former home of “Scrubs” – ABC picked up the show when NBC decided they didn’t want it anymore – notably, Heroes’ Masi Oka and Chuck’s Sarah Lancaster weren’t able to make the taping. Studio rules (only it’s not, because actors from other NBC shows have been granted permission to guest on shows on other networks).

“They both wanted to do it, but NBC said they weren’t allowed to,” explains Lawrence. “Typical classy stuff.”

So who did return? Tom Cavanagh, Amy Smart, and Nicole Sullivan, among others. No word on Brendan Fraser – damn. Should’ve asked him last week when he was here.
