Hi all,
Before we play catch-up, I just wanted to apologize about the site being down the last couple of days – believe me it hurts me (financially and reputation-wise) just as much as it hurts you.
There’s nothing at all I could do about it though. I just had to sit and wait like the rest of you – sweat dripping from forehead as the hours ticked on by.
You’ll have noticed the server has been crashing quite regularly over the last month – we assume that’s because of traffic; Tosia’s “X-Files†review was quite popular, ya know? – but this was the longest period of time that the site had been down. And I know, why, oh why, did it have to be THIS weekend!?
Being the biggest weekend for movie news – what with Comic Con on – it’s really disappointing that we couldn’t share the prearranged coverage we planned to run . Even more disappointing for those of us that are there at CC filing stories – essentially wasting our time, and finances.
As I explained to a couple of studios this morning, it really is out of our hands. We weren’t able to contact our host – and they’re the only ones that can press the ‘fix’ button.
I’m really fuckin’ sorry for the downtime. It really bites. I’ll try and make it up to you all – readers, contributors and studios – in the coming weeks.
