First peeps at Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter in “Captain America” – the Joe Johnston-directed film adaptation of the popular Marvel comic – here, folks!
Carter, I’m told, is the woman most likely to snuggle with Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans) at the end of the day – she’s the Lois to his Superman, the Betty to his Bruce, the Mary Jane to his Peter, the Fonzie to his Ritchie. Whatever… she looks cool! (Knowing Marvel, I’m sure the film will be just as cool!)

“Captain America : The First Avenger” also stars Tommy Lee Jones, Samuel L.Jackson, Hugo Weaving, Stanley Tucci and Dominic Cooper. The film is currently set for a July 22, 2011 release date.
