Hilary to star in “Jungle Fever” for teens
Hilary Duff will try on a new pair of slippers (that’s one of those analogy things, cos you see she played a Cinderella-like character in, ah… forget about it) for “Greta”, a new Whitewater production about an interracial teen romance. Duff will play one half of the controversial couple, whilst Evan Ross will play the other, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Duff will play the title role of a waitress who falls for an ambitious cook (Ross) at the restaurant where they work. But as their summer romance heats up, she has to overcome the concerns of her grandparents (Ellen Burstyn, Michael Murphy) about her boyfriend’s criminal past. The comic drama is now shooting in New Jersey.
