Taylor Lautner’s next also inspired by popular novel

“Twilight” star Taylor Lautner is attached to star in a film based on the Catherine Fisher young adult novel “Incarceron”, according to Deadline.

Adam Cooper & Bill Collage, who wrote “Tower Heist” (the new Ben Stiller starring Brett Ratner directed comedy), wrote the screenplay.

The book fixes on ”Finn, who has lived his entire life on Incarceron, a savage, futuristic prison society. He meets the daughter of the warden, who is trapped in her own prison, a futuristic world constructed beautifully to look like the 17th Century. She knows nothing of Incarceron except that it exists. She and Finn simultaneously find a crystal key that allows them to communicate and hatch an escape plan for Finn.”

As for when Lautner will fit this one in, I dunno – he’s going to be filming both parts of “Breaking Dawn”, is committed to starring in Uni’s “Stretch Armstrong” movie, and recently attached himself to Summit’s “Cancun”, which sounds like a hybrid of “If Looks Could Kill” and “Die Hard”.
