Josh is now jamming with 50 Cent
I’m as pleased as piss to report that another one of the “Blair Witch” guys is out of the Woods.
Joshua ‘Josh’ Leonard (who you’ll all remember from “The Blair Witch Project” – he was the bearded one) was telling me a couple of days ago that he was in the midst of getting up a film – one that would star 50 Cent. Impressed I was. Never in a million years did I expect it to be up this soon! Man, that’s quicker work than my week at KFC.
Leonard’s “Spectacular Regret”, which Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson is in talks for, is fully financed (by way of private equity) and set to lens in L.A this July.
The script, written by Leonard, will see the rapper cum actor play a death row inmate whose imminent execution has made him a cause celebre. The drama interconnects with four Angelenos struggling to overcome past events.
Leonard has also roped Danny Huston (“The Proposition”, “30 Days of Night”), Kelli Garner (“Lars and the Real Girl”) and John Ortiz (“Aliens Vs Predator : Requiem”) into appearing in the film.
