Dwayne Johnson starer “San Andreas” will bow a week earlier than previously planned.
The film has been pushed up to May 29, 2015 from an original release date of June 5.
The disaster film will now open against “Insidious: Chapter 3”, animated pic “Monster Trucks” and Cameron Crowe’s untitled comedy. George Clooney’s big-budget flick “Tomorrowland” will be in its second week as will Melissa McCarthy action comedy “Spy”.
“San Andreas” is directed by Brad Peyton and follows a helicopter pilot (Johnson) as he searches for his daughter following a devastating earthquake.
